Setting up a useful workshop

Planned feature

Find the right workstation for your next project.

Choose the station for the job

The Spell Bench handles knowledge, trees, upgrades and preparation. Wand benches permanently assemble wands. The Mortar manually prepares ingredients and basic fittings. The Runic Workbench assembles runic components and apparatus. Distillers extract essences. Infusion Stands bind learned magic into compatible objects.

A normal cauldron becomes a Potion Cauldron through an eligible Mutavelle cast, without consuming a duplicate cauldron item. Brewing and wand repair are separate modes. Planned visible states are idle, heating, processing, ready and blocked, so you can understand a workshop without opening every menu.

Build from ordinary resources

These lists show the planned ingredients, not their crafting-grid positions. Counts are included where they have been decided; ingredients without counts still need those details.

Sharing and moving stations

Permission to use the station and its linked storage is separate from learned knowledge. The acting enchanter must know the binding, even at a borrowed station. A denied or changed input must not consume your ingredients. Full output should pause a machine rather than discard products.

To pack a machine, stop it, empty inputs, outputs and water, and finish or cancel active rituals. Packing clears links and old coordinates; ownership, cosmetic identity and allowed configuration stay with the packed machine. Anchors must deactivate first. A half-finished recipe or old storage connection does not follow it to a new home.
