What the atlas shows—and what stays private
Planned feature
Explored terrain, delayed daily snapshots and no live player tracking.
The atlas is still being prepared
The atlas is offline until its privacy protections have been checked and an export is ready to publish. There is no live terrain view, renderer or player feed on this page. A publication date will appear only when an atlas export has actually been published.
The planned atlas is shared exploration, not a personalized fog-of-war map. Generated, pregenerated, unvisited or merely anchor-loaded terrain stays masked.
What qualifies as explored
The selected visit default is a connected human standing in a chunk for at least 10 seconds; vehicles count. Spectators, administrative probes, machines, anchors and pregeneration do not count. Reveals are grouped into coarse 8-by-8-chunk cells, with every included chunk required to meet the visit rule.
The exact choice between releasing a fully visited cell and masking unvisited portions of a partial cell remains unresolved. Neither approach may reveal unvisited terrain. The atlas must not expose hidden caves or ruins beyond its permitted visible surface layer.
Daily is not immediate
Eligible terrain, build imagery and public markers publish together in daily batches after at least 24 hours of delay. An area explored five minutes before a daily batch cannot appear in that batch. Public Floo and shop destinations can appear only when eligible, approved and available.
There are no live player markers, coordinates, recent trails, private Floo destinations or private route identifiers. Discovery times and pending data also stay private. Privacy applies to delivered tiles and data, not just what the interface draws. Delayed publication reduces current tracking; it cannot promise that no one will ever infer any historical exploration.
