Travelling together with a group portkey
Planned feature
Travel to a prepared destination with a group that has agreed to go.
Prepare the journey
Craft a token and attune it to an owned or permitted destination marker. The intended initial limit is a group of up to 4, same-dimension only. One binding charge is consumed on successful activation. Exact token and charge recipes and the countdown length are not specified yet.
There is no arbitrary-coordinate teleport entry and no kidnapping nearby players. Owning a marker does not give travelers access to the destination owner’s containers or machines.
Consent and arrival checks
The countdown begins from a snapshot of consenting members and rechecks everyone at the end. Any disconnected, ineligible or denied member, or anyone without a safe arrival position, cancels the whole group without consuming a charge.
A restart cancels/refunds an uncommitted countdown. If an unexpected partial move occurs, the intended recovery returns only participating travelers to verified safe origins and consumes nothing. This recovery behavior is planned and still needs crash-safety testing.
When a trip is refused
Check every member’s consent, connection, combat eligibility, access and safe arrival, not just the holder’s destination. Do not repeatedly spend charges trying to force a denied journey: failure is supposed to preserve the charge. Travel never grants permission to build, open storage or see a private route on the atlas.
